In celebration of the grand opening of The MaxLofts, 96 new homes in a historic Art deco high-rise in LA’s Fashion District, we invite Los Angeles to see these new lofts by experiencing the greater home that surrounds us. On Thursday, June 23, we hand over the keys to locally-based art, design, fashion, and cultural entities. We invite neighbors far and wide to come inside and experience the many creative industries that are reflective of this home: at the intersection of several Downtown LA communities, based in the Fashion District, one of the most culturally unique, complex, dynamic neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
Accompanied to an installation by visual artist, Nate Page, is a choreographic score developed by Page and Chelsea Zeffiro which uses a non-verbal system of logic to negotiate the ambiguous relationship between interior architecture and furniture. Performed by Nate Page, Kaitlyn Petrik and Chelsea Zeffiro.
